Your Opportunity at GENEREX

Hardware Development | Battery Management | Measurement and Testing Technology

Want to do more than maintain existing circuits and actively contribute to developing electronic products?
At GENEREX, you will work on hardware for the reliable monitoring of critical power supply and battery systems. Together with experienced colleagues, you will support the development of new electronic assemblies from initial concepts and prototypes through testing to series production. GENEREX SYSTEMS GmbH develops and manufactures microelectronics and software for UPS, battery and facility management. Our solutions are used worldwide by manufacturers, service providers and operators of critical infrastructure.

Your Responsibilities

  • Contributing to the development of analog and digital circuits and microcontroller-based electronics
  • Building, commissioning and optimizing prototypes and electronic assemblies
  • Performing measurements, functional tests, troubleshooting and technical analyses
  • Supporting circuit simulation, component selection and PCB development
  • Creating and maintaining circuit diagrams, bills of materials, test documents and production documentation
  • Contributing to test setups and testing tools for development and production
  • Supporting new products from development through to series production and assisting with technical inquiries from production, quality management and service

Your Profile

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics or a comparable field
  • Initial practical experience in electronics development, for example through vocational training, internships, working student positions, a thesis or personal projects
  • Basic knowledge of analog and digital circuit design
  • Basic practical skills in using soldering irons, multimeters, oscilloscopes and standard laboratory equipment
  • Ideally, initial experience with an ECAD system such as Altium Designer, Autodesk EAGLE or comparable tools, as well as LTspice
  • Basic knowledge of microcontrollers, embedded software, networking or Linux is welcome but not required
  • Structured, careful and solution-oriented approach to work, with an interest in hands-on development
  • Very good German and good English language skills for technical documentation and internal and external collaboration

What We Offer

  • Practical introduction to electronics and product development with close guidance from experienced colleagues
  • Varied tasks involving real products rather than exclusively theoretical assignments
  • Short decision-making processes and direct communication between development, production, quality management, service and sales
  • Freedom to contribute ideas and the opportunity to take responsibility for your own tasks early on
  • A medium-sized, internationally oriented technology company based in Hamburg
  • Long-term prospects in a technically challenging and future-relevant environment
