Price stability at GENEREX – and even a reduction for C30!

Despite global crises, rising energy costs, and unstable supply chains, one thing remains constant at GENEREX: our prices. For the fourth year in a row, we guarantee our European customers stable conditions – no surcharges, no surprises. For the current C30 module (for 6V battery voltages), we were even able to reduce prices by 15 %!

We pass our benefits directly on to our customers.

This is made possible by our active supplier management and a clear focus on finding reliable international partners. Especially in Germany, we observe price developments – and we respond consistently – with the visible effect of price stability for four years in a row!

However, pricing at GENEREX US will likely need to be updated in the coming months in accordance with developing changes to import and export regulation. Nonetheless, also in the US markets we remain hopeful in maintaining a level of pricing stability unmatched by competing products or out-of-country producers.

New SMARTLOGGER NFC READER – now available for iPhones!

With the new NFC tool and the redesigned app, reading battery data is now even faster – and finally practical on iOS devices.

On Android, the app works as usual: battery data can be read directly via the NFC chip integrated in the phone. Additionally, the new NFC reader can also be used via Bluetooth, for example, on Android phones without NFC functionality or in hard-to-reach locations.

APPLE iOS users now benefit from the new SMARTLOGGER READER, which connects via Bluetooth. The app automatically detects the scanning process – without constant system queries or repeated confirmations.

Software update: UPSMAN modernized for Windows and Linux

GENEREX is modernizing its proven UPSMan software for UPS connectivity (serial, USB, RFC1628/LAN) and homogeneous shutdown solutions with RCCMD. This update improves security in server infrastructures.

SNMP V3, an encrypted agent that prevents unauthorized access and data manipulation and protects sensitive UPS information, has been integrated for Linux systems. Native “snmpd" integration under Linux simplifies integration into existing monitoring systems.

Additionally, the RFC1628 standard has been consistently implemented in both versions. This enables manufacturer-independent and easy integration of UPS systems of various models into monitoring systems and ensures homogeneous shutdown solutions in conjunction with RCCMD. The modernization strengthens GENEREX's position for future-proof server infrastructures.

BACS C40 – The End of an Era.

For over 16 years, the BACS C40 module has been the central element of many successful installations worldwide – particularly for monitoring 2V lead-acid and 1.25V nickel-cadmium cells. Since its market launch in 2010, more than 500,000 units have been produced in Germany and the USA. The C40 has proven to be reliable, durable, and still the benchmark in its segment today.

Its production in Europe will now end in summer 2025. The C40 will remain available as a spare part – but the next iteration is already ready for new projects: BACS 4, model BACS C44.

This change is not a break – but the continuation of the BACS success story, with state-of-the-art processor technology, an optimized manufacturing process, significantly improved measurement precision, and even greater safety. At the same time, BACS 4 remains fully backward compatible with the current BACS WEBMANAGER generation – with stable prices.

Also important:

In the USA, the C40 will continue to be produced and will remain available there for the time being. The transition to BACS 4 in North America will take place accordingly at a later date.

Now available: PROFINET Adapter for CS141 & BACS

Whether for UPS system or battery monitoring: With the new PROFINET adapter, all GENEREX CS141 and BACS devices can be directly integrated into industrial PROFINET networks.

CS141 HW141 – A classic has said goodbye.

After more than nine years, the first hardware generation of the CS141 – the HW141 – has retired. From now on, only security updates will be provided for this model. End of support is set for 2027. From now on, all further developments will be carried out exclusively for the current CS141 HW161, which has been in production since 2022.

The HW161 has the following differences compared to HW141:

✔ Latest drivers & highest cybersecurity
